Golf:  Coming to Sunset Beach, Calabash, and Ocean Isle, it would be hard not to master the game of golf since we have over twenty courses to choose from, but here are a few of our favorites:

Restaurants:  Off the island we have quite a few restaurants in our area.  Our area restaurants include seafood, elegant, and casual dining. Our favorites are The Brentwood, Café’ Latte’s, and Twin Lakes. All of our rooms have sample menus for local restaurants.

Let’s go to the Movies: Coastal Cinemas in Shallotte, NC is just twenty minutes from the Inn. Coastal Cinemas has ten different movies to choose from and it shows all the current releases, as well as, some old favorites. For show times visit their web-site at www.allstarcinemas.com

Museums:  In Sunset Beach you can visit Ingram Planetarium and learn about the stars, astrology, and watch the multimedia star show for the low admission price of $5.00. Or you can buy a $9.00 combination pass and also visit the Museum of Coastal Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach!  You can learn about our coastal area, as well as, Native American history, and our local sea turtle program.  You may even want to leave with a small trinket or a sharks tooth from their gift shop. Shopping: If you are looking for undiscovered treasures or that perfect gift then we have got the stores for you. Callahans in Calabash, and the quaint shops at Barefoot Landing in Little River,  offer unique gifts that you can’t find anywhere else.  You’ll find homemade candles, wood carvings done by local artists, and a lot more. And don’t forget to try Callahan’s homemade fudge!    

Vineyards and Winery’s:  The two winery’s in our area offer tours, wine tasting, and fabulous gift shops. They also love to put on some great festivals during the spring, summer, and fall, including the stomping of the grapes festival. So don’t miss all the fun.
