Bird Island Grand Room

The Bird Island Room is named for the only undeveloped barrier island in North Carolina west of the Cape Fear River and is home to the “Kindred Spirit.” Bird Island is now connected to Sunset Beach since Madd Inlet has filled in and can be reached by walking or boating. This 2nd level bright & cheery grand room incorporates hues of yellow, white and blue. The crisp white furnishings & sunny interior of The Bird Island Room brighten up any Sunset Beach day. This grand room has a larger private screened porch, including a porch swing, rockers, & amazing views. The Bird Island Room is frequently requested and is a reminder of nature, undisturbed.

This larger corner room features an expanded corner porch with two rocking chairs and a porch swing, as well as a jetted tub and separate shower.

****If you have mobility issues, please do not reserve the Bird Island room.  There are 30 steps to reach this room.
