Reservation & Payments
Rooms can be reserved online, by calling toll free (888-575-1001), or by calling direct (910-575-1000). Your credit card will be charged in full 14 days before arrival. If booking within 14 days of arrival, full payment is charged at the time of booking.

Room Occupancy &
Age Requirement
All room rates are per night and based on double or single occupancy. Each room allows up to 2 adults maximum. Guests must be at least 21 years old to reserve and stay. Valid ID may be required at check-in. A 3% fee applies for credit card payments.

Environment
To preserve the peaceful experience for all guests, The Sunset Inn expects respectful behavior from everyone during their stay. Management may refuse service if necessary.
Minimum Stay Requirements
- Weekends, Spring, Summer & Fall: 2-night minimum
- Weekends like Memorial Day & Labor Day: 3-night minimum
- Please call the Inn for 1 night stay availability.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 14 days before arrival: Cancellation fee applies ($50 Oct–Apr; $100 May–Sept)
- Within 14 days of arrival: Full booking cost is charged. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance.
Taxes & Payment Options
All rates are subject to state and local taxes. Gratuities for housekeeping are at the guest’s discretion. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. There is a 3% fee on credit card payments.
Children Policy
Children 12 years and older are permitted with prior approval before booking. Families with children are limited to lobby level grand rooms; families with two children may only book two adjoining rooms on the lobby level. A $25 per day fee applies for children. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone to maintain a quiet environment.
Pet Policy
No pets are permitted on the property. This includes comfort, companion, or emotional support animals. Only qualified service animals (per ADA definition) are allowed. If an emotional support animal is brought to the Inn, guests will be asked to leave without refund.
Smoking Policy
The Sunset Inn is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or on screened porches.
